Our Story: Why We Created Angling Protect

When we launched Angling Protect, we wanted to create something different – specialist angling insurance designed by people who genuinely understand the sport.

I’ve been an angler for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of spending time by the water, learning from experienced anglers and enjoying everything that our sport has to offer. Over the years, angling has remained a constant passion in my life.

Alongside that passion, I’ve spent my entire career in insurance. Bringing those two worlds together felt like a natural progression, and that’s exactly how Angling Protect came to life.
