Making a Claim takes just a few minutes

To begin your claim, log in to the Members Area, select the policy under which you wish to submit a claim and then click the ‘Make a Claim’ button. This streamlined process typically takes just a few minutes. Once you have submitted the claim, one of our experienced claims professionals will contact you within 24 hours to discuss the next steps.

Submitting Claims

Claims can be submitted in any of the following three ways

Log in to the Members Area, select your policy, and click ‘Make a Claim.’ Answer a few quick questions and ‘Submit Claim’.

This process typically takes just a few minutes.

By Phone

Our claims lines are open 9am to 6pm from Monday to Friday. In the event of a travel claim emergency lines are open 24/7.

Call us on 0800 711 7777 and please have claims related information available.

By Email

Email us on claims@anglingprotect.co.uk. Please include your name and address, the policy number, a short description of the loss and the date.

You can also attach any relevant documents.

Once submitted, your claim will be reviewed by one of our experienced claims professionals within one working day.

What happens next?

Remember we are here to help. If you’re uncertain about the severity of your issue or how to start a claim, give us a call first, and we’ll assist you.

No matter the type of claim you’re making, try to stay calm, always put your safety first and if the claim involves a crime by a third party, report this to the police immediately.

If someone is claiming against you:

  • Don’t admit liability.
  • Don’t attempt to settle the claim yourself.
  • Don’t communicate with the claimant without our approval.

Doing any of these can effect cover. If you’re unsure about anything, just get in touch with us.

Once we receive your claim, one of our team members will contact you to explain the next steps. All claims will be assessed within 24 hours of receipt, where hopefully a decision can be made.

We may need some additional information from you. This will depend on the type of claim and the circumstances. Likewise the time required to process a claim also varies.

Simple tackle claims can be settled within days, while complex negligence cases may take months. No matter the claim, we’ll support you every step of the way and keep you informed.

Once a claim is settled, payment can be made quickly via BACS transfer.
