Well we have been praying for rain for months and its finally come and it looks like nature is going to try and catch up very quickly with forecasts of a very wet winter.

But that won’t deter me for ill be on the river with our director Jon Hettle chasing Pike and Zander on his boat on the mighty River Severn.

Then I have planned a few trips after a big Sturgeon on a local water rumours of a fish over 250 lbs, can you imagine how hard that will pull the string?

Then I’m having a go after some chub not big ones but plenty of them on a southern river and of course I will be chasing a monster trout or two.

Also, I won’t forget a carp session because although its going into winter this is the time of year that throws up a few bigger carp hopeful one has my name on.

So, you can see there’s still plenty to have a go at, have you made your plans yet?
